Seth Rogen, the frat-hating, well, neighbor in Neighbors, has come full circle. The actor and funny guy is now a Pi Kappa Alpha at the University of Vermont, and his new brother status puts quite the bookend on each side of the Neighbors series.
In fact, Rogen has joined an extremely charitable fraternity — the Lambda Delta chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha on Vermont’s campus is going on their 4th year as the winners of HFC U, a competition put on by Rogen’s Hilarity for Charity.
Hilarity for Charity was started after Rogen’s mother-in-law was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s, and the charity has succeeded in raising over $6 million for Alzheimer’s research. Their HFC U program gets college students involved on a larger level, and the Pikes at Vermont have delivered… many times over.
The Lambda Delta chapter has raised over $100,000 for Hilarity for Charity since 2013, and this year they’ve raised more than $30,000 in conjunction with Alpha Chi Omega.
And the Pikes are pretty psyched about Brother Rogen.
